Legacy Of Black Nationalism! An Opinion Curbed Of Course.

Marcus Mosiah Garvey is widely credited with being a pioneer in the history of Self empowerment during the 1920โ€™s building factories stores Black dolls and grand parades to show a paramilitary organization that was well organized! The ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ governmentโ€™s fraud cases division went after the organization and the great ๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ฒ leader was jailed and ๐Ÿ˜ก ruined! Nonetheless Garvey was cited as being influential by the Muslim leader the Honorable Elijah Muhammad who is best known for his work with my brother and leader the late minister Malcolm X May Allahu Akbar Godโ€™s blessings fall upon his grace ๐Ÿ™โค๏ธ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ด๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ˜Ž

The guy who is the lynchpin to the two leaders mentioned is the late great Booker Taliaferro Washington! For close to sixty years the guy was the most powerful person in the black community eating dinner with President Theodore Roosevelt running Tuskegee institute and arguing with W E B DuBois!

Washington believed in self help and improvements through thrift patience manual skills and a pragmatic approach that would help keep folks from being lynched as this period in history was the nadir point the lowest mark for black folks! Thousands dead strange fruits ๐Ÿ‰ hanging from ๐ŸŒฒ! DuBois the intellectual ๐Ÿง derided the views of Washington as being an Accomodationist Uncle Tom unfortunately the label has stuck!

The Honorable Elijah Muhammad Marcus Garvey and Malcolm X admitted their work was based on their understanding of the view from Booker T Washington who is a stalwart teacher and philosopher who has been done โ˜‘๏ธ an injustice by Black Academics in my ๐Ÿ“–! Folks need to go back and read again the ideas held by the great man!

Self reliance and thriftiness are two ideas for the ages as who in their right mind goes against the idea that helping yourself and saving money are bad ideas nah duh ๐Ÿ™„
